Basera Boutique Hotel - Boutique Escape In Heart Of Kathmandu

thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful small hotel, easy to find. the food was outstanding, drinks were delicious. favourable and marvellous location in the city center of kathmandu, met my needs. what's more, it was very close to all the restaurants. i didn't want to leave, would recommend.

Had 1 night in Kathmandu, spent our time here lovely. The room was nicely furnished, we truly enjoyed it. It took us 15 minutes to drive to this truly exceptional accommodation from the airport.

Facilities were good, however Wi-Fi was quite slow.

Overall had real good stay for 3 nights. Double room with a spa bath, had basic facilities we needed👌

It is an European building, the rooms are reasonably spacious and elegant with a hot tub. Glad to have central heating, a private safe and flat-screen TV.

The breakfast service was inconsistent.

My thoughts, in two sentences

Staying here was an absolute delight, with cute staff. The local architecture and fine food choices, especially the breakfast, were highlights of my lovely experience!

The staff provided quick assistance when we reported a stained sheet.

Housekeeping frequently missed restocking bathroom supplies, like the empty vanity boxes.

This place was just a great fit for a weekend excursion in Kathmandu with extraordinarily good value for money. The room cleanliness was decent enough, but I found a small stain on one sheet which was quickly changed by the staff. Remember to ask for extra keys when checking in. They were a bit tricky to manage.

The Heritage Suite was spacious with a cozy seating area and air conditioning. Breakfast had freshly baked pastries and a variety of organic juices. Staff were super attentive, helping with requests and even walking us to the pharmacy when we needed something. Universal plug sockets in the room were a nice surprise too!

I adored the elegant heritage decor and fine art throughout Basera Boutique Hotel. The common areas were spacious and easily accessible.

More fresh fruit options at breakfast would be appreciated.

Really good Stay with Amazing Comfort

Spent 2 lovely nights here with friends. The Heritage Superior Beautiful Room offered luxurious comfort and a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the onsite restaurant, with a good menu. A short taxi ride to Thamel. Don't miss the spa services!

The heritage decor captivated us, and the staff provided really good service, especially Simirty at reception. One downside was the limited fresh fruit options at breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Staff is super kind and early check-in was great. Wi-Fi was unreliable at times.

The Heritage Superior Beautiful Room was like a palace! Super comfy bed, clean, and spacious-was like home. The shower was great too. And a kettle for coffee/tea was a nice touch. I loved how well-maintained everything was. Really cozy. Just perfect!

We had the most amazing time at this lovely hotel where the food at Bansa restaurant blew us away, especially thanks to Surgam’s outstanding service! The spa services were so relaxing, and the traditional Nepalese dance performances were a highlight of our stay. Just a heads up, there was some light work going on during the weekend, but it didn’t really bother us. 😊
